Daniel Cervantes, PhDResearch Adviser
In addition to guiding students as a Research Adviser, Dr. Cervantes is an Associate Professor/lecturer in Biochemistry and Genetics at American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. He earned his undergraduate degree in Pharmacobiological Chemistry from the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (Mexico) and his PhD in Biochemistry from the University of North Texas. His research regarding “nuclear protein glycation” has earned him numerous publications and a US patent.
