Dr. Yaseen completed his medical degree from Al-Mustansiriyah University in Iraq and postgraduate Malaysian boards in Pathology/Haematology and Blood Bank at The University Sains Malaysia. He worked as a Haematopathology Consultant and Senior Lecturer at Malaysia's University Technology MARA Faculty of Medicine before relocating to Australia, then completed his AMC exams and worked as an Anatomical Pathology Registrar and Hospital Medical Registrar at Grampians Health (formally Ballarat Base Hospital).
