Dr. Jones is currently a GP at Newstead Medical and Urgent Care Doctor at the Urgent Care Centre, both in Tasmania, and is an Academic Tutor for fourth-year medical students at the University of Tasmania's medical school. Dr. Jones completed post-graduate training as a Resident Medical Officer at Launceston General Hospital after earning her MBBS from Oceania University of Medicine. Prior to medical school, she earned a Bachelor of Emergency Health (Paramedic) at Monash University and worked as an Advanced Life Support Paramedic for Ambulance Service Victoria and as a Combat Medical Attendant for the Royal Australian Army Medical Corps (Reserves).
