Dr. Okeke is a healthcare professional by training and an educator by practice. She has over eleven years of teaching experience from secondary and post-secondary education to graduate and medical schools. She has held roles in the Selma City Schools, Concordia College Alabama, The University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Rasmussen University, in addition to OUM. She has written multiple articles for Diverse Issues in Higher Education, Black College Today, and the Journal of the Student National Medical Association. Dr. Okeke earned her medical degree from American University of Antigua College of Medicine and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Walden University.
