Dr. Dina Jamil is a lecturer, academic, and research advisor. Her research interest is in the field of early detection and prevention of prediabetes and type 2 diabetes. Since 2010, she has over 20 publications in this area. She completed her medical degree at the College of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University in Baghdad, practiced as a general practitioner in Baghdad for four years, and completed a Diploma in Child Health from the University of Sydney and a Master’s in Women’s Health from the University of New South Wales. Dr. Jamil has been teaching biomedical science subjects in multiple Australian Universities for the past decade.
