Mathew Rickard, BEng, BSc, MBBS, FRACP

Dr. Rickard is a medical specialist consulting in acute and internal medicine. He has spent significant time in both emergency and internal medicine, and now practices in North Brisbane. Dr. Rickard began his formal education with two Bachelor’s degrees, a BS in Anatomy from The University of Melbourne and a BS in Engineering/Electronics from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology. He was Chief Biomedical Engineer at the Alfred Hospital in charge of equipping and commissioning Australia’s first trauma center. He earned his MBBS at The University of Queensland, trained at numerous public hospitals including rural service, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, General and Acute Medicine.
