Professor Dewan is a Paediatric Urologist and Paediatric General Surgeon providing care to children and their families, as well as advice to adults affected by congenital conditions, particularly those of the urinary tract and bowel. He has also been extremely active throughout the years in providing care and improving medical services for children in developing countries and facilitating the education, demonstration, and skill transfer to local health care professionals in those countries. He joined the OUM faculty in 2021 as a Clinical Professor and Clinical Coordinator for Victoria. He has studied and practiced globally from Australia, New Zealand, and London to Dublin, Sri Lanka, and the US. Professor Dewan earned his MBBS from the University of Melbourne and completed his MD, PhD, and additional post-graduate training at the University of Adelaide.
