“COVID-19: A Faculty Member’s  View from the Front Lines” 

Join Dr. Earl Sempio, OUM Associate Professor of Pulmonology, for a candid report of life as a provider on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Sempio teaches the Respiratory System module at OUM and he is also on the faculty at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Manila, Philippines. Dr. Sempio is on one of three COVID-19 teams at his hospital in Manila, seeing patients in two-week shifts. He will be speaking to us during one of his quarantine periods, designed to keep the frontline teams safe and productive. Following the talk, Dr. Sempio will discuss OUM’s approach to medical school with prospective students.
