Welcome to the Gold Coast Medical Association (GCMA) Samoan Medical Conference 2023, where medical professionals and students from throughout Oceania will come together to share knowledge, collaborate, and inspire one another. Oceania University of Medicine (OUM) is proud to be one of the Conference sponsors.
This unique event, held on 29-30 September 2023 at the Taumeasina Island Resort in Apia, Samoa, is a joint collaboration of the Gold Coast Medical Association, Samoa Ministry of Health, Samoa Medical Association, National Samoa University, and OUM.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from experienced practitioners, connect with colleagues from different regions, and discover new perspectives on the latest developments in medicine.
Conference organizers invite physicians, faculty, and students from the region to submit research abstracts or posters for presentation at the Conference. GCMA also welcomes article submissions to the Medical Link journal, a publication of the GCMA.

The GCMA Samoan Medical Conference will be held at the Taumeasina Island Resort Samoa, a beautifully appointed island resort located just 45 minutes from the Faleolo International Airport and 5 minutes from the capital city of Samoa, Apia.
