OUM Zoom Webinar Event
Join us to meet Dr. Ahmed Muhsin, Director of Research, and Dr. Jessica Owen, Associate Director of Research, and learn about OUM’s Research Program.
Completing a research project and publishable manuscript is a graduation requirement at OUM. As a result, the University has amassed an experienced staff of Research Advisors who assist students in all aspects of their project, from identifying the research question and preparing their prospectus to data collection/analysis and manuscript preparation. Once the prospectus is prepared, students present their project to colleagues at Research Club to gain feedback on finalizing their projects. OUM students must have their Research Prospectus approved before they may begin clinical rotations.
Dr. Muhsin and Dr. Owen will share student projects, challenges faced, and how OUM supports students throughout the process. They will also discuss why learning the research process is so important to one’s future medical practice and how your research could strengthen your residency or internship application.
NOTE: Q&A time is worked into each session. Attendees are encouraged to submit questions via the chat box throughout the live webinar. Moderators do their best to address each and every question during the session.
