Ramesh Gopalakrishnan, MBBS, Musculoskeletal System Discussion Facilitator

Named a voting panelist & consultant to International Consensus Conference on Ultrasound in Medical Education (ICCUME) with the objective to arrive at recommendations to integrate ultrasound into medical education programming. Dr. Gopalakrishnan also participated in a web meeting at the World Congress of Ultrasound in Medical Education (WCUME), 14 Oct 2017 in Montreal, Canada.

Ingrid Herrmann, MD, Basic Science Instructor and Clinical Student Advisor

Appointed to First Aid/Scholar Rx Faculty Council, a team of medical educators who review board review questions for the USMLE Step 1. Scholar Rx is the company behind the market-leading First Aid for the USMLE series and the USMLE-Rx board preparation suite. Dr. Herrmann reviews questions in Pathology, Microbiology, and Immunology.

Ahmed Muhsin, MBChB, MPH, Academic Advisor

Became a member of the Fort Bend Medical Reserve Corps, a not-for-profit organization that serves the community in Fort Bend County, Texas, outside Houston. The Reserve Corps provided important support following the disastrous hurricanes which hit Texas in August 2017. Dr. Muhsin has also been part of planning meetings to address health trends and issues in Fort Bend County.
