Mena Abdelsayed, PhD, Immunology Instructor and Academic Advisor, published with colleagues “A Mixed Periodic Paralysis & Myotonia Mutant, P1158S, Imparts pH-Sensitivity in Skeletal Muscle Voltage-gated Sodium Channels” in Scientific Reports, April 2018.

Sudha Shivaraj, MBBS, MD, Academic Advisor, presented “Team Based Learning, a Global Teaching Method, an Experience” at the International Conference on Sustainable Globalization (ICSG), January 2019 in Kochi, Kerala, India. ICSG was organized by universities from Russia, Germany, Croatia, India, and the USA, bringing together academia, industry, and government towards a more sustainable world.
