Mark Your Calendar for 14-15 July and make your travel plans for Houston, Texas.

Students attending the OUM North American Student Conference in July will receive a special orientation to OUM’s newly contracted hospitals in Houston and the surrounding community as well as talks on USMLE prep, choosing the right Clinical Skills Course, planning your Samoa rotation, tips to ease preparation of your research project, and more.

“There will also be plenty of opportunities for students to meet and mingle with their colleagues from all parts of the country,” says Chris Dudley, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Administration and Student Affairs. “All OUM students and graduates are invited.”

Conference attendees have a special rate of $79 per night at the Fairfield Inn & Suites at Houston Intercontinental Airport. Special pricing begins 11 July and ends 15 July. Click here to book your room.  Note: the special rate offer expires on 30 June.

Those staying at the conference hotel should plan to arrive on Friday in order to not miss a minute of the conference that begins first thing Saturday morning. There will also be a reception for new and current students on Friday evening.
