In July’s monthly webinar, our Admissions Info Session, we will address common questions, provide insights into our medical curriculum, and discuss the application process. Then, in August, our newly appointed Student Ambassadors will discuss the medical school journey and present the challenges and rewards “in their own words.”

Meet Our Admissions Counselors, Associate Dean for Student Engagement, and Student Ambassadors, who will discuss:
- OUM’s unique distance-learning curriculum: Learn how you can complete the pre-clinical phase “where you are” without relocating.
- A day in the life of an OUM student: Get a first-hand account of what it’s like to study medicine with our flexible program.
- Our admissions process: Understand prerequisites, documentation requirements, and how to smoothly navigate the application process.
- Clinical curriculum: Learn where our students complete rotations and where our graduates are practicing.
Thursday, Friday, 17/18 August — Meet Our Student Ambassadors
We look forward to introducing you to our new 2023-2024 Student Ambassadors. They will spend the next year sharing their OUM journeys and discussing course content, our interactive classrooms, remote exams, preparing for clinical rotations, and much more, with prospective and first-year students.
Student Ambassadors enjoy the opportunity to assist prospects and support first-year colleagues as they transition to medical school. Being an Ambassador is also a great mentoring experience and leadership addition to their CV narratives. OUM began its Student Ambassador Program in July 2022.
