Congratulations to Dr. Thelma Boshoff on her appointment as GP Registrar – Emergency Department Hospital Medical Officer (ED HMO) at Bairnsdale Regional Health Service, Victoria, Australia.
A proud 2023 graduate of Oceania University of Medicine (OUM), Dr. Boshoff was an accomplished researcher during medical school, having been the recipient of the SGIN Student Research Prize at OUM’s Student Conference in Brisbane, May 2023. Her project, “Quantitative Study: Pain and Function After Total Joint Arthroplasty on Discharge,” earned her the $1,000 research award sponsored by the St. George Institute of Neuroscience (SGIN) in Sydney.
Following graduation, Dr. Boshoff completed her Internship at Mercy Werribee Hospital, also in Victoria, before progressing to her current role.
